Campus VFX, previously Lost Boys, delivers role-specific training online and on campus, built around the exact skills studios hire for. Each program is purpose-built and focused on a single discipline, ensuring students train as they’d work in production.
We’re one of the few schools in North America that integrates real industry methodologies and workflows directly into our teaching. Campus VFX was the first to offer intensive, specialized training in Compositing (Nuke), FX (Houdini), and Lighting (Katana), long before this model became standard in VFX education.
Our programs continue to evolve alongside the industry, with new training developed to meet current studio demands.
Students can train on campus in Vancouver or online through a fully immersive experience. Our online programs replicate the classroom environment with live, structured, instructor-led sessions, real-time feedback, and direct access to instructors throughout the day. Students also remote into our systems to use professional VFX software and participate in the same lectures and reviews as in-house cohorts.
The result is focused, production-style training designed to prepare students for specific roles in the VFX industry.
